I did it. I’ve completed and submitted my Early Decision I application towards Connecticut College. I had intended to begin my blogging earlier, but I figured this momentous occasion, this start of my future, would be a great time to start! The Common App was pretty easy to finish. I hope it wasn’t overkill when I submitted both my ACT, SAT, and SATII scores. I was very happy with my results so I thought to myself, “Hey, why not?!”. As a home-schooled student, I was really able be to build up my extra-curricular section, which I understand is an important aspect of camel life (extra-curricular involvement that is!).
I know what many of you may thinking, “Now Michael, don’t you think it is a little risky to send in your Early Decision I Application the day of the deadline?”. The reason is simple; I was hard at work on my essay. After reflecting on the past 17 years with my Mother, whom I love very much, I decided to address issues of faith and family. Needless to say, it took me longer than expected to finish. I am very happy with the result and hope to share the essay with you all here on this blog.
Well that’s all for now, I am going to go watch “The Mask” starring Jim Carrey with my younger sister. Peace out Internet, and fellow Camels!
God Bless,
Michael
